Mode of Shipment:

• Liftvan Method:
  • Loaded at your residence, Liftvans are placed directly into containers. This method is perfect for those requiring storage either at origin or destination address or for those with less than a full container load.
  • Our packing crew will place your packed belongings into a Liftvan and record them on a loading chart. By doing this, we keep careful track of the placement of each item.
  • Liftvan loading offers added protection for your belongings as it eliminates manual handling of the goods once a liftvan has been sealed. Additionally, Liftvans reduce shifting and movement inside the container in transit.

• Direct Container Method:
  • The goods are loaded onto the client’s very own secure sea container through this method. This method can be a cost effective way to send larger volumes.
  • The packed belongings will be loaded directly into the shipping container at your residence depending on the access. All the loaded items are recorded on a loading chart. Once completely loaded, we will close the container doors and seal the container with the seal provided by the shipping line. Our containers are then fitted with a pad lock to ensure all items are secured.
  • Our packing crew is very experienced and will take great care to load the shipment carefully and tightly, to reduce shifting inside the container during transit. When the container is not completely full after loading, we will use a “bulkhead”, a wooden wall, which keeps the contents from moving within the container.

• Groupage Method:
  • Through this method, the client can consolidate their shipment with others. This is extremely cost-effective. Collins Movers provides groupage shipment to many countries keeping to its high standard quality shipping methods and procedures.
